Elena's sweater

I finished all the adjustments to make Elena her sweater. It should fit her, and may be a little big, but I tried my best. I took a pic with the last sweater on top to show the difference in size. The sweater will fit my sister in law who is 58, but tiny. Just was short in the sleeves for her. It was funny when she tried it on, cause she was sure it wouldn't fit her.

Now two of Don's great nieces want one too, they want the same color, that is the only part that make it a little boring. But I will get them done when I can. I kind of want to do something else for a little break, I hope they are not in a super hurry. They are so cute and tiny too.

Another new sweater

Here is the newest in the sweater series. LOL. I like the way this one came out. I am now working on enlarging the pattern to fit my 5 year old niece that wants one to match the pink one I made for her baby sister due in April. I am almost done with it and will post the pics when I am done.

hello again. I finished this yesterday but needed to take a better pic today. I am going to get it to my neighbor in a little while. I hope they like it. I think it turned out cute.

Knit scarf from Women's Heart Scarves Project

here are pics of the scarf I knit with the kit I purchased from http://www.shopredheart.com/ I clicked where it said to join and purchased the kit for a small fee, when i finished the scarf I mail it to the address enclosed, and they add a label and a gift card and it goes to a woman with heart disease. having heart disease myself, I thought this was awesome.

new baby sweater for my Lil Sister's baby

Hello again. i just finished this one last night. What do you think? I made this one a little smaller and I like it alot. I am thinking of making one without the ruffles for my neighbor in the colors that match the blanket.

New things

I made this baby blanket for my neighbor who is due any day with their first baby, it's a boy. It took less than two whole skeins. it is a wave type ripple. No real pattern just multiples of 9 stitches. I also made this scarf for my son's girlfriend. it is shocking pink, not sure why the pic doesn't show the color very well. I am just getting used to a new digital camera. It is crocheted also and it is Lion Brand Suede. Just a pattern I made up as I went along.

So, it's the beginning of a new year. I sure hope this one is better than some have been in the past. I did my first crocheted clothing. Well, besides a shawl anyway. I made a baby hexagon sweater and it turned out really cute. I like the bright colors I did it in. Will look great for Spring time. We had a quiet New Year's here in Colorado. It was cold and I wasn't feeling well, so we stayed home where we are safest. Plus the dogs don't like the firecrackers, so the little Trixie was doing alot of shaky shaky and the big dogs were nervous and hiding too.
