Adding links to blogs

Good Morning. I have been really busy saving alot of my patterns to PDF files, and so I have been kind of slow reading my emails these past few weeks. I have a great friend in Las Vegas, who has a great site, it is based on crafts and faith in God. I thought I would share it with you. Evie, you are the best. Thank you for the compliments on my blog and all the nice things you said in your blog. I agree, you must have faith in prayer and God to survive in the world today. I know I will be checking your blog more often. Here is the link to Evie's Blog http://prayersncrafts.blogspot.com/

Love ya,
Yvette

Bookmarks and Hearts

Ruffled Washcloth I made up for exchange
Hello. I am doing okay. Kind of bored at home, but I have been doing alot of little things. I will add the pictures to the slide show , or maybe just add them to the post. I hope all my friends are doing well. I have a little bit of a cold or upper respiratory infection going on, and it is starting to get cooler here in Colorado too. I am looking forward to adding more things to my blog, and I made 2 bookmarks, and need to type up the pattern to them also. Can't believe it is October already, man has this year flown by. But this is my favorite time of year when the leaves are changing to the fall colors before they fall.

Butt Paste Car in Arca Remax Series.

Hi y'all. Here you go. I told you I would find it.

Enjoy! Yvette

My new slide show

Hello everyone. I just took a day and a half to do this slide show. The computer kept freezing on me. I hope you enjoy it. I did a new prayer cloth last night and it is in the slide show. Hope you have time to look at all the pictures, as I have been crocheting like crazy this year.

Have a great weekend! Yvette

Prayer Cloths that I am making

Just thought I would pop in and put up a few pictures of the payer cloths that I have been making. These are smaller and pocket sized. They are from a pattern by Sandie Petit on the Crochet Cabana website. I will get the URL and post it also. I have to weave the ends in and I have also been participating in a washcloth exchange and have a few pictures of that too to post. I have to find them. I will post them later.
Have a smiley day! 8-)

Stuff I have done the last week or so

This is Claudia's Prayer cloth. I made it in Tunisian with a shell border for her to take with her to her treatments so that she would know I was praying for her to get well.
This is the beginning of a Tunisian blanket that will include the race car number and the driver's name when finished. It is for one of our local Nascar Whelen Weekly Series Driver's here in Erie, Colorado at Colorado National Speedway. I will post more pictures when I get further along. This photo was taken the other day, I have more of the checkered flag done for the top panel now. I have to graph out the driver's name and his number and then work on that part. It will have the checkered flag at the bottom of the blanket too. This is a round ripple that is in progress. It is already kind of big, but I ran out of the yarn and Hobby Lobby hasn't gotten any more in stock yet. It is Bernat Camo Yarn in Purple and Green. So far I have used 6 skeins of this yarn.

This is a blanket that I had started and thought it was too skinny, it is shells and cables. In Pink and Purple. So, I gave it to Trixie for her bed to keep her warm. She likes to go under the covers. She is my Pookie Bear.
This is my lip balm holder, it is attached to my keys. I just made this with a scrap of Sugar and Cream cotton left over from some project.
This is the start of a baby blanket that I am making as an order for a friend. We are actually trading now, so no $$$ involved. Bummer for that. LOL. Actually I am getting something really cool out of the deal. The stitch is one that I kind of made up.
This is my version of Monica Zenberg's little boy blue round ripple. The link can be found here. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977275501 I usedy own color scheme and also made it much larger than her version. I like my baby blankets to last a while for the children. There is my little doggie Trixie. She loves to hide in the blankets.

These are the dishcloths I made for Claudia. I did my own pattern for them, so she is the first to receive an original from me. It was a swap for this group. I also sent her a prayer cloth. She has that on her blog.

Hi y'all. I have to add some photos of some things I have been making for the last week or so. Some are WIP's but most are finished. Enjoy. I am also working on a baby blanket for a racer friend of mine. I wanted to have it done by this Saturday, but that is not going to happen. I still have alot to do on it.
