Hey Everyone. I am happy today. Jimmie Johnson won the race and I finished my first shawl. It is from the Lion Brand site. I used Herreschner's sport weight yarn, so I did it with two strands, It is really thick. I used wine color. It is actually for an exchange that I am doing on one of the many groups I am on. I don't want to say who for in case the recipient reads my blog. Let me know what you think.

I am so happy for you, finishing your first ever shawl. It always feels so great to break new ground. I felt that way after my first 18" wide doily - I was so surprised that I finished it =8)
The photo in my browser is a little dark but I can see the shape and it looks good.
